Role Purpose:
The Lead Technician is the shop’s primary technical expert, responsible for accurate diagnostics, high‑quality repairs, and supporting efficient workflow across the facility.
Core Responsibilities:
- Advanced Diagnostics — Perform and oversee complex diagnostic procedures.
- High‑Skill Repairs — Lead advanced mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Quality Control — Inspect and verify repair accuracy and safety.
- Workflow Support — Assist with job assignment, bay management, and repair sequencing.
- Mentorship — Coach technicians to improve skill and efficiency.
- Documentation — Provide clear, detailed repair notes.
- Safety Compliance — Promote safe work habits and proper tool use.
